Matte Metal Matcha Sifter Canister

This matcha sifter (tea canister) is made from tin-plated steel coated externally in a matte black or eggshell white lacquer. Featuring an inner screen, and bamboo paddle, this canister is perfect for sifting and storing a new bag of matcha.

If you are a regular matcha drinker, pre-sifting the entire bag of matcha streamlines the matcha making process as the tea is ready to be scooped directly into the chawan. The pre-sifted matcha can either be stored in this canister, or transferred to a natsume or other tea caddy using a wide-scooped mizuya chashaku.
