Prism

"Prism" is an optical device, usually made of transparent glass or plastic, with multiple flat surfaces. When light passes through a prism, due to the difference in the speed of light in different media, refraction and dispersion occur, causing the light to be decomposed into a spectrum of different wavelengths. This decomposition effect allows a prism to decompose white light into a rainbow spectrum, showing the components of light.
