Tenugui Towel - Bellflower

Kikyō (桔梗 - Chinese Bellflower) are one of Japan’s traditional Seven Flowers of Autumn and has been the subject of poetry and admiration for over a thousand years. In English, it is known either as the Chinese bellflower or the balloon flower, both names referring to the way the flower swells before blooming.

In hanakotoba (花言葉), the Japanese 'flower language', kikyō represents an eternal and mature love of sincerity and elegance.
