Black Matte Chawan

This striking chawan (matcha bowl) is entirely glazed in an iron-rich glaze, producing a unique matte black, almost metallic and shiny finish. Made in the classic Ido form, the bowl has an open shape and stylish bamboo-node foot (竹の節高台 - takenofushi koudai).
