Japanese Chataku - Set of 5 Hammered Brass Uniquely Engraved Tea Saucers with Chasaji Tea Scoop in Wooden Box

A set of five pure brass hammered chataku (tea coasters) and matching chasaji (tea scoop).

Each of the five chataku is decorated with a different Japanese flower/plant: matsu (松 - pine), take (竹 - bamboo), ume (梅 - plum blossom), kiku (菊 - chrysanthemum), and narcissus (水仙 - suisen). The chasaji is decorated with each of the five plants/flowers in addition to the hammer marks.

Ships with its original tomobako (paulownia wooden box).
