Japanese Teacup - Blue White Shino Glazed Mino-yaki Yunomi - 160ml

This Mino-yaki yunomi (teacup) features white motifs over a light blue shino glaze that is heavily textured with pinholes—called 'suana' (nest holes) or 'yuzuhada' (yuzu skin) in Japanese—on the exterior but is smooth on the interior.

Mino-yaki (美濃焼,) is a type of Japanese pottery produced in Mino Province in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Since the introduction of mass production in the Meiji period (1868–1912), Mino ware accounts for around 50% of Japanese pottery produced today.
