Japanese Teacup - Floral Engraved White Inner-Glazed Banko-yaki Yunomi - 100ml

This Banko-yaki yunomi (small teacup) features a purple clay engraved with a floral motif, and a white inner-glaze at the base of the teacup to show off the true colour of your tea.

Banko-yaki (萬古焼) is a type of Japanese pottery that traditionally comes from Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Its characteristic purple hue comes from the mixture of red oxidised iron and blue high temperature-baked iron in the clay.
