The teapot's built-in ceramic sasame filter is perfect for naturally straining tea, with a wide shape for faster pouring and less clogging.

Made by the craftsmen at Takasuke kiln (高資窯) who are known for their perfection of the 'ikomi' (moulding) process, boasting teapots with consistently excellent balance and pour. As such, kyusu from the Takasuke workshop are recommended by the Japanese Tea Instructors Association.
